Did anyone hear anything about the Dondero gym being broken into and set on fire?
Jun. 9th, 2006 @ 02:46 am
Looking back through these archives I'm glad to see that this community actually served a purpose and was just not long forgotten about. Dondero will no longer exist as the school we all remember it as, but this community will stay up and stay active in support of all the respect we have for it. All of the memories and all of the good times had will surely never be forgotten.
Geroge A. Dondero High School
This was posted as a myspace bulletin (Written by whom? I dont know)
I'm not sure how many of you realize, that tommorow is the last friday in dondero high school ever. the last time we all walk out the back doors to the parking lot and pretty much see our entire school running to their cars because they cant start their weekends soon enough, without even realizing what they are leaving behind. so tommorow when you are leaving school...whether it be in the back, at the nine stair at the front doors or one of our many other exits. i want you to turn around and actually think about what you are leaving behind. to many of us it is our home, our club house, our comfort zone. to others their stage, their court , their field, THEIR domain. dont let the sadness of leaving upset you. embrace that its not going anywhere, and many years from nowwhen you are driving down washington avenue you will see our beloved Dondero and you will remember what it meant to you, and that your last days their were sacred. no matter the name, long live dondero.
Post...so that people know.
(sorry to those of you who have this on your friends page 3 times and are annoyed)

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Today we discovered how the drinking fountains were cleaned.|
When Keith was done cleaning the boys bathroom (on the second floor) he went over to the drinking fountain grabbed the toilet brush from the dirty water in that disgusting yellowish bucket on wheels and scrubbed the fountain and afterwards drank some water.
Now would Keith actually drink from it after he had just "cleaned" it with a dirty fecal infested toilet brush? I would hope that it turns out that the brush is designated for the purpose of cleaning the water fountains and nothing else.
To be on the safe side I think it is best to just avoid the water fountains.
